This year’s Eisteddfod was a wonderful event that took place in the charming town of Llandovery, Carmarthenshire from May 29 to June 3. It was a special occasion for Carmarthenshire, which hosted the Eisteddfod for the fourth time since 1935. The previous Eisteddfods in Carmarthenshire were held in Carmarthen in 1935, Cwm Gwendraeth in 1989 and Sir Gar in 2007.

Llandovery was a perfect choice for the Eisteddfod, as it is surrounded by the stunning scenery of Carmarthenshire. The town is a popular destination for walkers, who can enjoy the beautiful views and trails. Llandovery has also been awarded the ‘Welcome to Walkers’ status, which means that it caters to the needs of walkers and hikers.

One of the highlights of our visit to Llandovery was meeting Rob Page from FA Wales. He was very friendly and enthusiastic, and we had a great time chatting with him. It was a memorable day!
